Supporting Safe Night-Time Road Construction
ISAV Design was proud to provide traffic control services during night-time road construction works on Weymouth Road, Manurewa. The project was carried out over two nights, on 7 June 2026 and 10 June 2026, with works taking place from 8:30 PM through to the early hours of the morning.
Night works are often scheduled to minimise disruption to daytime traffic, but they require a higher level of planning and safety management. Our team worked closely to ensure that both road users and construction crews remained safe throughout the project.
Creating a Safe Work Zone
To manage traffic safely around the active construction area, we implemented a temporary traffic management setup that included:
✔ Advance warning signs
✔ Temporary 30 km/h speed restrictions
✔ Traffic cones and delineation devices
✔ Clearly marked work zones
✔ Night-time visibility and safety measures
✔ Continuous monitoring of traffic conditions
These measures helped drivers identify the roadworks ahead, reduce speed safely, and travel through the area with confidence.
Working Through the Night
Night-time traffic control requires constant attention and coordination. Throughout the project, our team monitored the site to ensure all traffic management equipment remained effective and visible.
By maintaining a safe and organised work environment, construction crews were able to complete their tasks efficiently while traffic continued to move safely through the area.
